Replacement Hydraulic Fan Motor
Superpro14

Morning Jim,

Have been dealing with White House and kinda came to a stand still, it turns out the motor valve combination you sent me earlier for the Beaver is what they are saying they can supply WEB site is not up todate, shows 10 in stock but they don't have anything but a motor only , since that they have found a valve, my may concern is if you look closely at the pic of the valve and motor, the end of the valve where the small hoses connect to the flange, (coming from the Wax Valve) there is only one port where where as on my Valve there is 2 ports, the second being through the Bolt hole so the fitting acts as a bolt to hold the flange tight on one side and normal bolt other side. They can not tell me how I would need to plumb up the Wax valve using onlythis one port, I know you have a lot experience on Hydraulic systems so I'm hoping you might have some ideas. The other thing if they were to get a replacement pump for these old style MH's they need to order 5 and up to 16 weeks delivery. The delivery is not good but liveable the 5 would be impossible. So if I can figure out this Valve issue they can supply 5SM/42050CC (MO) motor only and can get me 553/1/10463/170 Valve, there are pics on White Houses site, if you get a chance could you have a look and tell me what you think I would sure appreciate it, Thanks

Roadmaster 8 airbag suspension H frame movement and resulting wandering
b_faster

Similar results, although I did it in reverse from David.  I did rear cross bars first due to my Windsor with air only leveling being a "real snowflake".  The cross bars seem to help more with the push from passing and being passed, with some wandering control.  Once I had the Watts link system built and installed, the wandering disappeared.

I had to build my own Watts link frame system due to uniqueness of my Windsor.  It was worth all of the effort.

update... we are still good, was able to get out and drive down to spartanburg to get some groceries/cat food and cash from a bank as almost no where is yet accepting cards here... slowly a couple places are now. Our neighborhood was very fortunate and only a 5 or 6 of the 40 or so homes got tree damage no flood/landslides as we are on a hill, we got power back earlier this week and internet as of yesterday. Have family helping with the distribution of necessities out toward's fairview / gerton and the devastation is unreal, photos do not do it justice.  Couple more photos of the drive up to my partner's mom's house and into our neighborhood. And what the inside front and rear look like

AN UPDATE ON MY QUESTION FROM MONTHS AGO!

I looked a long time and asked this question on different sites but could never get an answer about the codes. But, I found it. REV Group, which used to be Allied Recreational Group covers Monaco and Monaco products. When I called they asked for the last nine (9) digits of the Vin #. Presto. The codes were in my email. See the attached info and Happy Trails!

Update on flat wiper seal for BAL Accuslide. Reordered  a new seal from Steele Rubber. As soon as we took it out of the box, realized it was going to work better, due to the rubber being more flexible. It is working great so far!

Did you give them the number from your motor/valve assembly??

Here is a parts list for my fan cooling which might be what you have.

Have you diagnosed you motor/valve as being bad.  If you are broke down I'd suggest removing and taking it to a good hyd shop and get an opinion.

Wiper Pivot Arm

Well, I left Tuesday AM on my west coast trip.  Got about 4 hours from home and a heavy rain came up.  So using the wipers as needed, High, Low, varied speeds.  After about an hour I heard a pop and the passenger side wiper quit.  Keep driving with the drivers side, decided to continue trip and take a look when I got a chance.  Made to Rapid City SD yesterday AM and took a look.

There is a short lever arm off the Wiper Pivot Shaft, it is welded on.  The weld broke.  Was able to remove the wiper & Pivot shaft.  Took a while to figure out how to get the ball joint loose, finally figured it must just be a pressed type fit, so pried it off.

Then had to take a dremel tool with file attachment and cleaned up the end of the shaft so it fit back tight.

When I stopped for fuel I asked an attendant where I could get a small piece welded and he recommended Excel Truck and Trailer repair about 1/4 mile away.   Stopped in there and asked if they could weld. the woman behind the counter took it to the back and came and said NO PROBLEM and it would be welded and they'd bring it back up front.   Went to the coach to check some stuff and ~10 minuets later came back in an the pivot arm was sitting on the counter.  Pulled out my wallet to pay and she said "no charge"!!!

Plan on putting it back together today, I'm parked in Hardin MT and will visit Battle of Little Big Horn today.

Got to love those little country shops. I had my mirror temporarily welded up once. Not free like yours but right there and then, when I was in trouble. Can't drive without one.

Have a bad ECM and I pulled it and sent it off to a repair shop.  I'm now questioning whether I have been scammed.  Since I'm broken down and a long way from home, I'm working on a plan B.

I can get a used ECM but it will need to be flashed. Cummins can flash the correct engine side of the ECM for the engine VIN but they can't account for the Monaco parameters - tire size, shift points, exhaust brake, engine heater, etc.

Any chance someone has an image available?  I know it's a longshot but I figure if anywhere had a needle for my haystack it might be this forum.

Jacksonville Florida for the winter?
Kenster

I generally spend the winter in the southwest. A friend has invited me to run over to Jacksonville for the winter. He claims he can get us in to a nice park on the water. All I have heard about Jacksonville is the abundance of bugs, humidity, mold and salt damage. Does anybody have experience spending the winter in Jacksonville Florida? What can I expect.

Wiper Pivot Arm

So I got the wiper back on but plan on replacing the pivot arm when I get home

There is/was a spring type washer on the shaft, had rig up a of getting it off.  I think this keeps the shaft in the in/out centered position.  But I was very tight going on and I didn't want to put too much force on the acorn nut the holds the wiper arm on.

But I got it together and seems to be working, so I'm not going to press my luck

Considering the amount of rotations I was surprised and the minimal wear on the ball joint and shaft.  I put liberal amount so of grease on in when I put it back together.

Now have to try and hunt parts.  I have the parts page and REVRVPARTS.com has them at an outrageous price, so just have to find a better source.

I have them for an 2001 Dynasty if that will help?

E TN has seen similar impacts from the storm.  A friend forwarded of the Douglas Dam water release, a massive amount of water was being released, at one point +440,000 gallons PER SECOND on Oct 1.

The Pigeon River runs along side I40 and what caused the washout.  Massive amounts of water. The Nolichucky and the Pigeon river are what caused the damage in Newport & Erwin, both towns sustained lots of damage.

These rivers all drain into Douglas Lake.  This AM the Knoxville News Sentinel had a video showing the debris field left on the lake.  Logs, Limbs, building material and household items.  TVA is stretching booms across the upper part of the lake to try and stop if from reaching the main body of water and ultimately the dam.

What engine/HP and transmission combo, this has to be matched to program the ECM.

I don't think it will be close enough. Mine has a 315HP 8.3L engine. Some of the paperwork also says it's 330hp. Probably not a huge difference between those two specs.

@Frank McElroy is the GURU....but I have helped a friend and understand the DRILL.  FIRST....you should SEARCH using ECM COPY as the Key Words. Click on Everywhere and select TOPICS.  Try other words.  There have been many posts on this.  FWIW...you are required to SEARCH BEFORE posting a new topic.

OK....the DRILL.  You NEED a 2001 DIPLOMAT or ENDEAVOR.  THAT IS FIRST.

The SHOP does NOT FLASH.  The supplier of a Refurbished on or a NEW CUMMINS one will have the EMISSIONS and all the support "items" programmed into it.  The DEALER can NOT flash or copy and overwrite the SOLID EPA Code.  A Refurbisher CAN....

What you need is the PROGRAMMING PARAMETERS that Monaco had "Flashed" or included in the OEM ECM.  There is a 50 Page PRINTOUT of all the "parameters" in the ECM.  SOME are what a SHOP (using the Insight software can "CHANGE or MODIFY". They can NOT mess or hack anything with EMISSIONS or how CUMMINS wants the engine to run.  SO.....FLASH is a misnomer....or if the SHOP SAYS they can FLASH....they are either incompotent or in error.  They CAN copy the parameters, I THINK, into the NEW unit.  There are a LOT of them...

Things like Rear End Ratio, Tire size....Revs per mile.  The Tail Shaft RPM (from the Allison)....This one is a little above my stripes.  BUT, there are OTHER key or CRITICAL items.  The interface of the CRUISE will also be critical. I don't know about the Exhaust brake...but that, I think, was a Year by Year issue...so you NEED the EXACT info.

You actually NEED a COPY or PDF of what is in the ECM.  Frank can tell you the "FILE TYPE" and the tech will have to go through the print out and then REPROGRAM, per the printed copy....the parameters.  I know a little....but it is like any SOFTWARE system.  One parameters will be OFF or ON or Enabled or Disabled.  THEN, if ENABLED...there may be other settings as to YES or NO as well as VALUES....such as speed or such.  The Cruise is tricky.  The SAME engine in a 2008 Dynasty and a 2009 Camelot are WIRED DIFFERENTLY by Monaco....so the Cruise setting are NOT the same.  You can't program the 2009 to work like the 2008...as the harnesses and signals are different.  REAL WORLD... Frank modified mine and it SEEMED logical....but it NEVER worked....

Bottom line.  You need to find someone that has the PDF or the PRINTOUT for their MH.  You might have to pay Cummins or someone with Insight to do a DUMP....and give you a PDF.  I have mine.

That's the BASIC DRILL...from a macro standpoint.  Frank MAY have one....but I have NO IDEA how many of these he has.

Have you had it serviced at a Cummins Shop?  Have you had the ECM updated for the latest Software Revisions? IF SO....then there is supposed to be a FILE copy that is kept.

ALSO....when you get the NEW or REFURBISHED....it MAY or MAY NOT have the latest Cummins updates.  They are NUMBERED and DATED.  SO, the shop is SUPPOSED to do the UPGRADES.....so that you have the latest.  Some are window dressing.....only a tech or an Engineer would want such.  BUT, some are CRITICAL.  SO, the tech or shop needs to know the LATEST REV levels (above what is in the ECM). He needs to know if they are critical...as in you many be damaging your engine as the sensors and such have been reprogrammed...or they are non critical.

Hope that helps....

2011 Camelot residential refrigerator install questions…discussion.

As birdshill123 posted earlier on Sept 21 on the emergency window.  Is there any danger of opening that Emergency Window too far and having it come out of the track?  I know that window weighs a lot.

Appreciate any input or experience or knowledge.
