  1. Like I said for us it was fine because we were staying campgrounds most of the time. For you it depends on what you are going to be doing.
  2. It all depends on the previous owner, my Windsor came with 2 12v deep cycles which was actually more than enough us staying in campgrounds with full hook ups.
  3. They don’t seem to be for rv’s but to replace them it’s hard to go wrong with Trojans.
  4. Pretty sure in your last picture it’s on the right and you can see where it goes in between the exhaust and turbo.
  5. Yes I do have the 8.3 now but I was using my old Rexhall as my exprience with the V10 exhaust studs.
  6. My Rexhall was over 20 when the exhaust gasket went.
  7. I'm not sure what you could put on them that would last any lenght of time for a rust treatment. If you try to rplace them be ready to open a can of worms. I did mine on my old Rexhall because I had to replace the gaskets and I think 3 broke. If you are going to do them soak them for a few days with a good penetrative like Air Kroil (sp) or similar before starting.
  8. From what I read the ISX15 came out in the early 2000's but I never heard of them in a Windsor. I also read that some think the worse years for the ISX15 was 2004-2007. It's weird for sure because the guy owns a small oilfield company with a few trucks so I think he should know what he's talking about unless he got confused. It's not a short drive(10+hours) either so I going to see if he can send me a pic of the tag on the engine or some proof of it. I will keep you guys updated on what I find out but I think you saved me a long drive. Ok, you guys were right, the son posted the ad and he assumed it was the ISX15 but it actually has the ISL400 which I'm good with because I really want the jake brake in my next motorhome. Thanks everyone.
  9. Did many Windsors come with the ISX15? I'm going to look at a 04 Windsor that has one in it but I never came across a Windsor with that engine before.
  10. Yes because I have to switch mine over too now that I'm in BC. I have 3 months but will start checking soon and if I find a better rate than you did I will let you know. I'm kinda holding off until we buy a new to us motorhome first but am having problems finding the one I want in my budget.
  11. Really, that’s crazy and another reason to scratch a rear rad off my list while looking for a newer motorhome.
  12. Good catch, I don't know about where you guys are but apparently it's one of the worst years here in the Okanagan for them.
  13. I will check with the wife and she if she remembers the cost but I believe it was either 700 or 800 something a year. As for dealing with they were ok but it took almost a month from the time I filed the claim until the windshield came in the first time. (Wrong one) We like the Grand Forks area and may end up around there in the future. Kelowna was kinda of a stepping stone. Wife always wanted to live here and took a job that paid for the move if she stays with them for a year. After that we haven’t quite figured out what’s next yet.
  14. That really sucks. I'm insured in Ab. right now with Aviva for the motorhome but will be switching soon since we just moved to the Okanagan. From what I've heard about prices I'm in no rush but will have to bite the bullet soon.
