  1. I always use a wax that is Montan based, not carnabu.lasts longer. Montan Wax is an aged and hardened carnauba wax. The advantage is that it has a much higher breakdown temperature and puts a much more durable shell of protection on your paint surface. It also can still give you a nice deep shine, depending on which product you choose. https://www.nicoclub.com › archiv

  3. The engine compartment door on a Newell is awesome. Aluminum and very functional. It would not be difficult for a Fab shop to make one. Maybe less than what Ricki gets for his panel. That is what i would do. All you need is the door . You already have the mounting hardware.
  4. R That engine compartment grill is something Ricki Mackin posted on F B. He used to run the paint shop at Monaco in Or. Owner-operator at Mackin Street Customs & RV's Inc.

  12. You can do this. Also, you can do that for the power cord and the water hose in another one. Good job. A bunch of full timers at a FMCA Rally in Pomona, Ca. did that back in 2006. There were 6 of us. 2 days to do all. A great sourse for those deck fittings; https://www.westmarine.com/
  13. You should leave room in the expansion tank for the liquid , as it heats up and expands. 1/4to3/8 empty is where i would want it when COLD.
  14. IF you ever visited the Monaco service center on Hively in Elkhart, you know it made a statement for the necessity for correcting POST assembly omissions and errors. I would never purchase a Monaco product again. SOB will/may have comporable issues. My $$$ my choice.

  23. We full timed 10 years, 8 in a 07 Executive we ordered. It had a collection barrel for the power cord. I had a lot of problems with the in feed into the barrel. Manually assisting does help. After a period of time, the cable takes a "set" into it from being stored in the barrel. And as mentioned, i always wiped it off as i reeled it in. My solution to that was, once a month i would extend the entire cable, on a warm sunny day, take the twist out of it mannually, and let it lay for the day. That routine resolved the issue for me. I would never have another collection devise like that again, for/as a coach power cable storage/retrieval purpose.
  24. David Is your Foretravel a Demo from a show, or did you order it? What year model is it? Thanks
