  1. I have helped several people over the years with Monacoes that the door would not unlock. Check the studs that the latch attaches to. I found the studs were loose, the door was facing the sun and due to expansion the stud kept the door from opening.
  2. Thanks to all who replied to my questions. The bottom line is I will continue with the bypassed relay until such time as another issue arises. Thanks to Tom C for the call and making sure I understand how this all funtions.
  3. Swaping with the washer dryer makes perfect sense. Good suggestion.
  4. 2009 HR Sceptor 42KFQ This is a new to me coach. My first experience plugging into a 30amp outlet was at my storage facility. The ems would cycle quickly through its shut down system and finally the progressive surge protector would shut down all power, then power up and go through the cycle repeatedly. I moved to a second location in the facility hoping for better power but no joy. Left the coach disconnected until we left on our first trip. Back on 50 amps all was fine, except we found we had no hot water from the Aquahot electric. Did some trouble shooting and discovered that the relay in the ems system has failed. I bypassd the relay and all was good. Yesterday we returned and plugged back into 30amps and all works perfect. So the questions are: Can I comfortably leave it as is? Will it have effect on the ems system? Should I replace the panel? Is there such a thing as having the panel repaired?
  5. Thanks Ben. I have looked everywhere and came to that conclusion. No other hole in the bottom. Unfortunately the last two days have had such little humidity nothing seemed to drip.
  6. My pump is a Shurflo 4008. I guess it was changed before I owned the coach. FYI, the floor under the pump and wet bay is all a single sheel of plastic about 3/16s thick. No worries about water damage there!
  7. The water leak is on the right side (curb side). Propane locker is first locker forward of the rear wheels. The leak is from the fore to aft basement frame rail about 16 inches inboard. I gather there are black and grey tanks between the service bay and the propane tank. I disconnected the drain hose at the AC unit and tried to blow thru it. It was somewhat clogged. I then used my mini shop vac and vacuumed the drain. Then reversed and blew through the hose. I can now blow through the hose. It's pretty hot in NC so I haven't shut down the AC for very long. I'll give that a try this evening. I'm more concerned about having a tank plunge through the basement floor. Any idea what it's made of? It still drips at the frame rail.
  8. Thanks Dan, my propane tank is just forward of the rear wheels and opposite the plumbing bay. The propane system is not being used.
  9. 2009 Scepter KFQ. I noticed water dripping from the curb side frame inboard on the propane tank, which is opposite of the wet bay. I have turned all water supplies off and it still drips. The water feels cool to the touch so I suspect the center AC drain. I'm concerned that it's coming from above the bay floor. (1) Does anyone know where the center AC drain should be located? (2) What is the material used for the floor in the bay below the tank? It appears to be sagging an inch or so in the middle.
  10. I always cut my charger charge to 10% when I go to storage. Not much need.for battery usage. Thanks for the tip.
  11. Thanks Tom. I do have a cheap dog bone and it was the first piece substituted. Same result. As time goes on I have no doubt that it can be a issue,.so away it goes. Thanks
  12. Thanks Tom. You verified what I was thinking is correct. I tested at no load my dedicated plug to another down the line. Each is on a separate breaker. Mine showed 114 at no load. The other 117.3 no load. Both are low at no load so the whole bank is low by a few volts. I suspect mine could have a poor or loose connection as well. Next on the check list. I am using a high quality meter. Thanks for your input!
  13. I recently bought this coach. 2009 Scepter 42. When plugged into 50 amp service, no issue. Equipped with a Progressive EMS-HW50C with remote readout. Plugged into 30amp service at storage facility the EMS keeps shutting down circuits until the ac is completely turned off. Then it resets and all is well for a few minutes. Then all repeats. Only systems running are a single ac, the invertor and the frige. Total draw is 24amps. I am plugged into a 30amp dedicated circuit. I noticed the remote progressive module shows as little as 98 volts at shut down. I have tested at two totally separate outlets. Same result. Any suggestions?
  14. I had a similar issue a while back. I unplugged lighting groups in the front of the coach one at a time until the problem disappeared. Then I inspected each light bulb and socket carefully. What I found was that one bulb had been inserted too hard and it bent the contacts in the socket and sent a hot signal to ground
