I apologize for the length of this post.  I'm just trying to save some folks from a really frustrating and expensive on-the-road repair. As another poster mentioned, this is one of the “Top Ten” issues discussed on this forum.  Since Monaco stopped using the Solid State Isolator years ago and the number of coaches equipped with them dwindles, the number of techs who understand how to properly replace and connect one of these DUVAC alternators dwindles, also.  A DUVAC alternator is one with
