Rob McKeown
I am looking for information on the inflatable door seal system, the source of air, what controls it and where the control is
Chargerman
My air seal supply and regulator are behind the front cap, passenger side. Be careful with the regulator as too much pressure will blow the bladder in the seal. Edited February 22, 2022 by Chargerman
Tom Whitlow
Is there any way to inflate it with the door open and not driving so that it can be checked for leaks?
Ivan K
What triggers the door seal on yours? Mine is simple, door closed and ignition on. Simple magnet simulates closed door. If yours needs to be at certain speed or just in gear, it is different. There is a little hose going down from front lower corner of the seal. If you find a connecting nipple in that line or where it connects to a regulator under the stairs, you can unplug that end and use a hand pump or air turned down to about 5psi. Or, find the Mac valve feeding the regulators and jump it (I have 2 regulators in series from factory).
Old Dog
On my 07 Sig the trans needs to be in drive to inflate the door seal.

Rob McKeown
Thanks for all the responses, it sure helps to get the info before you start troubleshooting. My Coach is at Josams right now but I will get on this when I get it back. I am pretty sure its in the Regulator or Mac valve as it does not appear to have any obvious breaks, tears or pinches. I tried it with the engine running and in Drive. Under normal operation it is inflated when in Drive and not inflated when in Neutral. You can tell pretty quick its working as it hard to close the door when it is inflated.
