kenandjoanne2002
I have a 02 Diplomat with the original Jensen b/w rear camera. I want to update to colored but use the same cables. #1 has anybody done that? Were the wiring similar? Did you need a professional electrocution? Are some newer colored units better than others? My camera pin has 6 pins and power connection has 3. Ken Parsons 02 Monaco Diplomat pbdd

Old Dog
Rvcams has an adapter that splices onto existing camera cable. They are very helpful, I used there expertise to install side view cams with a controller all wired to turn signal triggers etc. Made a big difference in visibility. Not cheap but nothing is these days.
woodylmiller
You can reuse the existing wiring, I did. Just match the colors on each end. No problem. I soldered my connectors to the old wire, but there are some kits out there for adaptors so you don't have to solder.
