Engine compartment light

Can anybody tell me what the fuse is for the retractable engine compartment light since mine is dead and I can't trace it out on an 05 Diplomat.

Better yet is there a source of wiring diagrams for these coaches?

I believe my 01 Executive has to have the switch on that provides power to the storage bays for that light to work.

Hey Dave is it dead because there is no power going to it, or because when you flip the switch nothing happens?

I am finding on the little switch inside must get corroded or ? And many i try wont turn on.

I would recomend test the power and ground going to it if you havent already.

Turn on storage bay lights then it will work

I found the problem was that the wire was out of the connector going to the plug into the unit. Part of the problem was that the light is wired reverse of any socket I've ever seen being that the center post is negative and the outer casing is positive so that cause some confusion.
