New flooring install

Recommended Posts

We are making progress on replacing all the flooring in the coach and have completed the LVT tile installation today. This remodel wasn’t planned, but after repairing the floor rot on the flush slide, we decided to replace the original flooring. Since we were already tearing things apart for the slide rot repair, it made sense to go all the way.

Removing the old carpet and laminate tile wasn’t easy, but we managed to get it all out for the new flooring installation. We chose LVT tiles for the main floor and decided to carpet the slides and the rear raised floor area over the motor. With a trip planned in 5 days, we need to hustle to finish everything before we go.

We plan to install the carpet on Tuesday and start putting everything back into the motorhome afterward. We likely won't finish all the trim work until we return from the trip. Additionally, the stairwell won't be completed since I am still deciding what to do with that area.

Looks good Aaron.  I have been contemplating this same task.  The P.O. Of our coach had already replaced the tile, but unfortunately it was not done very nicely and it needs to be redone.
Keep us updated.
