Pduggs
I suspected an air leak up front, since the coach wasn’t riding as well and my onboard air compressor was running more than normal while parked. I have the air only leveling Valid system. So, I fully aired up and raised the coach to it’s highest extent. Immediately noticed the sound of air escaping. The DS front bag has a hole the top. Upon leveling the coach, the air leak stopped. Sprayed the spot with soapy water, but no bubbles. My guess is with the bag compressed somewhat, the hole closed up. The bags are ContiTech 99-12, which I’m guessing are original. I’ve not replaced any of them in my seven years of ownership. Question…I saw Mike’s (zmotorsports) great write up on replacing all bags and I’d do this job myself, but we full time and we’re in a park which makes the job difficult. We’re in southeast Michigan. Anyone know of a good shop where I can get all bags replaced? Or will any good truck repair shop do this job? How much will this job cost me for all ten bags? Garry Donohue
I replaced one of mine thus last Spring. Mine was a Contitec 99-12 P730. Purchased on line from find it parts.com original equipment. Price was $185.49 ea. their part #64664. Not hard to do at all, and I’m not a mechanic. My 07 Dynasty is also Valid system (air level only).
